Urban Underground DSP – LICI-E-07 of 11

Stamps: Wacky Wishes (inside Hostess 2012/13).

Cardstock: Black, Hello Honey, Silver Foil, Urban Underground DSP (Occasions 2017).

Ink: Versamark, Black.

Tools: Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, dimensionals, Black/Silver ¼” metallic ribbon (Occasions 2019), Silver embossing powder, sequins, Urban Underground embellishments.

Punches/Dies: Garage Gears Thinlits dies, Celebrate You Thinlits dies, Well Written Framelits.

Use a full panel from your Love It Chop It pile (5-1/4” x 4”), cut it in half the long way and flipped one over.  Covered the join with ribbon.

I swiped a piece of black cardstock with Versamark here and there, covered it with Silver embossing powder.  I flicked it off as hard as I could before heat embossing for the label.

I lightly swiped a piece of Hello Honey cardstock with black ink before cutting the gears.

This is card 7 of 11 from the Urban Underground DSP (Occasions 2017) Paper Share.  I ended up with 5 sheets of 6x6 paper plus 2 half sheets (3x6) of black with brushed silver foil.  I have Loved It long enough, time to Chop It and use it thanks to Kylie Bertucci for sharing her method!

Urban Underground DSP – LICI-E-06 of 11

Stamps: Dragonfly Dreams, Wacky Wishes (inside Hostess 2012/13).

Cardstock: Hello Honey, Very Vanilla, Urban Underground DSP (Occasions 2017).

Ink: Black, Delightful Dijon marker.

Tools: Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, dimensionals, Black/Silver ¼” metallic ribbon (Occasions 2019), Silver embossing powder, sequins, Sequins embossing folder.

Punches/Dies: Layering Circles Framelits, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits dies, Stitched Rectangles dies.

I cut one of the half sheets (3x6) of black with brushed silver foil in half to fit behind my circle

Colored the bees with a marker and topped them off with Wink of Stella.

I had joined a Paper Share for the Occasions 2017 catalogue.  And as usual, SU! has the most stunning papers but the catalogue does not do them justice.  A Paper Share allows you to see the detail, patterns and weight of each DSP before committing to buying a full pack.  For the designs you love, you can always order a full pack if the catalogue is still current!  From the Urban Underground DSP Paper Share, I ended up with 5 sheets of 6x6 paper plus 2 half sheets (3x6) of black with brushed silver foil.  I have Loved It long enough, time to Chop It and use it thanks to Kylie Bertucci!

A total case from Sandi!  Love this card!  As Sandi said, this Host Stamp Set is intended to create Christmas Cards but it works great for a Valentine’s card too.

Very Vanilla card.  Sign the back.  Set aside.

Tip Top Taupe panel 5-1/4” x 4”.  Adhere to the card front.  Set aside.

Punch a 1-3/8″ circle from a post it note.   Cut a Very Vanilla panel 5” x 3-3/4”.  Mask off a moon with the post it note circle.  Sponge Soft Sky Ink on the top portion of panel and Tip Top Taupe ink on the bottom.  Remove mask.

Stamp the branch from the Cozy Critters stamp set (Holiday 2016) in black ink about 2-1/2” from bottom of Very Vanilla panel and set aside.

Stamp two owls from the Cozy Critters stamp set in Early Espresso ink onto 1-1/2” wide Tip Top Taupe cardstock.  Punch them out with the Owl Builder Punch.  Set aside.

Stamp the scarf only – one with Bermuda Bay ink and one with Real Red ink on 1” wide white cardstock

Cut out the scarves by hand.  Adhere to the owls.  Set aside.

Stamp two sets of eyes in black ink on 1” wide White cardstock.

Cut the eyes and beak out by hand.  Adhere to the owls.  Set aside.

Cut white cardstock 2-1/2” x 5-1/2”.  Add Smoky Slate ink to the raised side of the Woodland Embossing Folder.  Run it through the Big Shot.

Use a craft knife to cut out the inside of a couple of the trees.

Add black marker to the “dashes” and around the edge of the trees.

Cut outside edges with scissors.  Edge the outside of the trees with the black marker.  Set aside.

Attach the trees to the Very Vanilla panel.  Trim the trees to fit.  Adhere to card front.

Add mounts to the owls.  Adhere them to the card front -  the Bermuda Bay owl first then slightly overlay with the Real Red owl.

Use the Owl Builder punch to punch out 5 hearts on a 5/8“wide scrap of Real Red cardstock.  Add hearts in a pleasing manner.  Color hearts with clear Wink of Stella

Stamp a phrase from the Wacky Wishes (2012/13) stamp set in black ink to the bottom, right hand side of the card.

Cut writing tablet paper in half to fit the inside of the card.  Stamp with a couple owl images in Tip Top Taupe ink.  Stamp a phrase from the Always stamp set (2008) with Bermuda Bay ink.  Adhere to inside of card.

Adhere a doily to the front of an envelope.

Pounce with Real Red ink using a shaving brush.

Remove doily for a delicate envelope.

SU235 Special Delivery Owl Card

Another idea from Pinterest!  Inside it says “because you are one of a kind”.  The card front was stamped with SU's Woodgrain stamp.  Sponged the edges of most everything with Early Espresso or Wild Wasabi.  I cut the More Mustard 4.5” high by 3.5” wide.  The small rectangles are cut at 2” high by 1.5” wide.  I made Faux Brads using this method.

Stamps – Priority Post, Punch Bunch, Woodgrain.

Card Stock - White, Early Espresso, More Mustard, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake.

Ink - Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi.

Accessories - Owl Builder punch, 1/4" circle punch, Square Lattice embossing folder, unknown flower punch, sponge, mounts, rhinestones, Crystal Effects, Swiss Dots embossing folder, Modern Label punch, Bird Builder punch.

SU232 Happy Easter Owl Card

This year, baby owls are being hatched instead of chicks!  I used the egg from the Wagon Full of Fun stamp set and cut it apart.  This was a color combo suggestion from The Color Lab.  I used Wild Wasabi instead of their suggested Gumball Green as I didn’t have Gumball Green.

Stamps: Wagon Full of Fun, Wacky Wishes.

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Rose Red, Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White.

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Rose Red.

Accessories: Photo Corner Punch, mounts, Daffodil Delight marker, sponge, Owl Builder Punch, Swiss Dots EF, Sizzlets leaves.
