Urban Underground DSP – LICI-E-10 of 11

Stamps: Geared Up Garage, Still Night (Holiday 2018).

Cardstock: Black, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Very Vanilla, Silver Foil, Urban Underground DSP (Occasions 2017).

Ink: Basic Gray, Black, Light Smoky Slate Blends.

Tools: Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, dimensionals, Wink of Stella, baker’s twine.

Punches/Dies: Night Owl Thinlits dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits (largest), Stitched Banners dies (non SU!).

I used one of the half sheets (3x6) of black with brushed silver foil for this card.  I adhered a Silver Foil strip to one long edge before adhering it to my card front.

Colored the owl with the blends then used Wink of Stella to the dark areas only of the owl.

I had joined a Paper Share for the Occasions 2017 catalogue.  And as usual, SU! has the most stunning papers but the catalogue does not do them justice.  A Paper Share allows you to see the detail, patterns and weight of each DSP before committing to buying a full pack.  For the designs you love, you can always order a full pack if the catalogue is still current!  From the Urban Underground DSP Paper Share, I ended up with 5 sheets of 6x6 paper plus 2 half sheets (3x6) of black with brushed silver foil.  I have Loved It long enough, time to Chop It and use it thanks to Kylie Bertucci!

White Winter Woods Christmas - One Hour Card Class 079 - OHCC079

Stamps: Winter Woods.

Cardstock: White, Gold Foil, Vellum Cardstock, Sparkle Glimmer Paper, Watercolor (for the snow).

Ink: Versamark.

Tools: Gold embossing powder, 1/8” Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon, Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, mini glue dots, sequins, Piercing Tool, Softly Falling embossing folder, Silicone Craft Sheet.

Run the snow piece through the Softly Falling embossing folder.  Apply Fine-Tip Glue or Tombow Glue to the bumps. Cover with Dazzling Diamonds.

I ran the vellum piece through the Softly Falling embossing folder as well.  I used the ribbon to hold it to the gold foil – glue shows right through the vellum so it doesn’t work.

Die cut the 2 spruce trees from white cardstock.  Colored the top spruce tree with Wink of Stella.  Adhered them together with mini dimensionals.  Added lots of sequins.

Die cut these trees from Sparkle Glimmer Paper.

Added a bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the phrase from the Winter Woods stamp set with Versamark ink using the Stamparatus then heat emboss with Gold embossing powder.   Ran the flap of the envelope through the Softly Falling embossing folder.

Brusho Cards - One Hour Card Class 042 - OHCC042

This is card 3 of 3.  Card one is on my Feb 20, 2018 post and card 2 is on my Feb 23 post.
You are simply Amazing Brusho Card 042C

Stamps: Amazing You (Occasions 2018).

Cardstock: Black, Silver Glimmer Paper, watercolor paper.

Ink: Versamark, Daffodil Delight, Black.

Tools: Celebrate You Thinlits dies, Black embossing powder, Yellow, Gamboge and Brilliant Red Brusho Crystals, aqua painter, Faceted Gems (2017/18), Tombow glue.

Black emboss three flowers towards at the top of a watercolor panel. Paint the panel down the center of the panel using the aqua painter.  Sprinkle yellow crystals at the bottom half of the panel, then a bit of orange above that, then a bit of red across the top.  Spread the crystals with the aqua painter or move the water around by tipping the card. Mop up excess water with a tissue if necessary.  Set aside to dry.

Black emboss three flowers on a scrap of watercolor paper.  Paint the insides with water using the aqua painter.  Sprinkle with orange only. Once dry, cut the outside petals off the three flowers.  Curl petals.

Place a scrap of watercolor paper on the silicone mat and tape the short ends down.  Spritz with water.  Move the water around with the aqua painter to cover the entire piece.  Sprinkle with red crystals.  Use the aqua painter to color the entire piece.  Add a few more red crystals – leave them without coloring.  Once dry, die cut the word ‘You’.

Adhere the cut flowers to the full flowers on the card.  Add Faceted Gems to the center of each flower.

Add die cuts in a pleasing manner.

My flowers were a bit damp when I cut them out.  They sure curled nice!

Stamp a phrase and a yellow flower for the inside of the card.

Decorate an envelope.

Brusho Cards - One Hour Card Class 042 - OHCC042

Here are the three Brusho cards we made.  It’s kind of addicting and sometimes frustrating as you really don’t have much control over what your background will look like.  No two cards are the same, that’s for sure!

Gold Butterfly Brusho Card 042A

Stamps: Beautiful Day (Occasions 2018).

Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, watercolor paper, Painted with Love DSP (Occasions 2018).

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Versamark.

Tools: Gold embossing powder, Brilliant Red Brusho Crystals, aqua painter, Wink of Stella, Love Mini Tinsel (Occasions 2018), glue dot, Tombow glue.

Gold emboss the butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set on to watercolor paper.  Stamp the phrase from the same stamp set at the bottom in Rich Razzleberry ink. Sprinkle a couple of dabs of Brilliant Red Brusho Crystals on to a clear block.

Use the aqua painter to apply water to 3 or 4 parts of the butterfly.

Pick up a tiny speck of the red crystals and begin coloring over the water.  Continue painting a couple more parts of the butterfly until you run out of color then pick up another speck of red crystal and repeat until the butterfly is complete.  Let dry.

Splatter with gold Wink of Stella.

Apply DSP to left side of the panel.  Add gold trim.

Cut another piece of gold trim at 3” long and tie a faux knot.

Stamp a phrase in Rich Razzleberry ink from the Beautiful Day stamp set for the inside of the card.

Decorate an envelope with the butterfly stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink.
