Another total CASE from a video I found on You Tube!

Sky Blue card.  Using the Stitched Frames Framelits dies, cut a circle in the card front.

Run the front of the card through the Softly Falling embossing folder with the Sizzix logo facing the front and the most dots at the topSign the back.  Set aside.

Cut Very Vanilla insert 5-1/4” x 8”.  Fold in half.  Run the wrong side of the front through the Softly Falling embossing folder with the Sizzix logo facing the front and the most dots at the bottom

Stamp a phrase from the Jar of Cheer stamp set on the stitched circle with Soft Suede ink.  Set aside.

Cut Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper 3-1/4” x 1-1/4”.  Trace the slope template on the wrong side.  Cut out.  Adhere to the inside of the circle with glue dots.  Set aside.

Adhere Very Vanilla insert to the inside of the card.

Add the circle phrase to the inside of the card.  Set aside.

Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 1” square.  Ink the fox from the Cozy Critters stamp set (Host Holiday 2016) with Soft Suede ink and stamp the scarf only.  Cut out and set aside.  Clean the stamp.

Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 5” x 2”.  For the tail to punch properly, stamp the fox in Tangerine Tango ink so his nose and partial foot are showing.

Turn the cardstock upside down and stamp the full fox at the other end.

Turn cardstock back the other way and stamp the head in the middle.  Stamp the gift in Emerald Envy ink at the top.

Cut the gift out by hand and set aside.

Punch out the fox parts using the Fox Builder punch – you must punch them from left to right.

Adhere the Soft Suede scarf to the body covering the Tangerine Tango scarf.  Add the head.  Just match up the body parts to adhere the tail.  Apply dimenstionals and set aside.

Stamp the washi tape from the Tape It stamp set with Emerald Envy ink on 1” x 4” Very Vanilla cardstock.  Cut out and set aside.

Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 1” x 4-1/4”.  Stamp Merry Christmas from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Soft Suede ink about ½” from left side.  Trim to ½” wide.  Flag the end next to the phrase with the Banner punch.  Lay all the parts on your card to determine where to cut the flag at the other end.

Adhere the washi tape image, the phrase then the fox to the card front.  Add the present.  Set aside.

Cut Very Vanilla baker’s twine 7”.  Use the bow maker hubby made me to make a bow.  Adhere to card front.

Add silver sequins

Stamp the front of a purchased envelope.

A total case from Sandi!  Love this card!  As Sandi said, this Host Stamp Set is intended to create Christmas Cards but it works great for a Valentine’s card too.

Very Vanilla card.  Sign the back.  Set aside.

Tip Top Taupe panel 5-1/4” x 4”.  Adhere to the card front.  Set aside.

Punch a 1-3/8″ circle from a post it note.   Cut a Very Vanilla panel 5” x 3-3/4”.  Mask off a moon with the post it note circle.  Sponge Soft Sky Ink on the top portion of panel and Tip Top Taupe ink on the bottom.  Remove mask.

Stamp the branch from the Cozy Critters stamp set (Holiday 2016) in black ink about 2-1/2” from bottom of Very Vanilla panel and set aside.

Stamp two owls from the Cozy Critters stamp set in Early Espresso ink onto 1-1/2” wide Tip Top Taupe cardstock.  Punch them out with the Owl Builder Punch.  Set aside.

Stamp the scarf only – one with Bermuda Bay ink and one with Real Red ink on 1” wide white cardstock

Cut out the scarves by hand.  Adhere to the owls.  Set aside.

Stamp two sets of eyes in black ink on 1” wide White cardstock.

Cut the eyes and beak out by hand.  Adhere to the owls.  Set aside.

Cut white cardstock 2-1/2” x 5-1/2”.  Add Smoky Slate ink to the raised side of the Woodland Embossing Folder.  Run it through the Big Shot.

Use a craft knife to cut out the inside of a couple of the trees.

Add black marker to the “dashes” and around the edge of the trees.

Cut outside edges with scissors.  Edge the outside of the trees with the black marker.  Set aside.

Attach the trees to the Very Vanilla panel.  Trim the trees to fit.  Adhere to card front.

Add mounts to the owls.  Adhere them to the card front -  the Bermuda Bay owl first then slightly overlay with the Real Red owl.

Use the Owl Builder punch to punch out 5 hearts on a 5/8“wide scrap of Real Red cardstock.  Add hearts in a pleasing manner.  Color hearts with clear Wink of Stella

Stamp a phrase from the Wacky Wishes (2012/13) stamp set in black ink to the bottom, right hand side of the card.

Cut writing tablet paper in half to fit the inside of the card.  Stamp with a couple owl images in Tip Top Taupe ink.  Stamp a phrase from the Always stamp set (2008) with Bermuda Bay ink.  Adhere to inside of card.

Adhere a doily to the front of an envelope.

Pounce with Real Red ink using a shaving brush.

Remove doily for a delicate envelope.

Gingerbread Man card - One Hour Card Class 036 OHCC036

If you have never made a card before, you will love these One Hour Card Class workshops!  We will complete a card with a matching envelope – ready for the mail!  I host card classes every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  You pick the day and the time that suits you.  Message or email me for more info. I hope you will consider joining me as we learn how to get the very best from the products that we buy.  You can order SU! products online and have them shipped directly to your door. Another layout I found on Pinterest!

Cherry Cobbler card.  Sign the back.

White panel 4” x 5-1/2”, which I know, is the same size as the card.  I find Cable Knit embossing folder shrinks the cardstock a bit so I would sooner cut it bigger then trim to fit my card.  Using the Stampin’ Spritzer, spritz cardstock with water on both sides before putting it in the Cable Knit embossing folder - it is suggested that the card stock be lightly spritzed with water to relax the paper fibers so that they will stretch and not break while being embossed.  Because the folder is so thick the Sandwich is a bit different: Regular platform – cardstock in embossing folder – cutting pad.  Set aside to dry.

Cut Presents and Pinecones DSP at 1-1/2” x 5-1/4”.  Over stamp with the ornaments from the Cozy Critters stamp set in Crumb Cake ink.  Set aside.

Cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock 1” x 5-1/4”.  Punch one long edge with the Scallop border punch and adhere to top of DSP.  Adhere to Cable Knit panel.  Lay panel on card front but do not adhere.  Trim if necessary.  Set aside.

Cut Taupe ribbon 10” long.  Wrap around a ‘D’ clear block.  Tie a knot.  Trim both ends on an angle.

Remove from block.  Set on Cable Knit panel to determine where to cut it.

Tape ends to the back.  Adhere to card front.

Pop a glue dot behind knot of ribbon.  Set aside.

Cut a 2-1/2” circle – I used my Coluzzle as that is what I have - from the Emerald Envy cardstock.  Apply Dimensionals and adhere to card front. Set aside.

Stamp the gingerbread man from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set on to a 2” wide strip of white cardstock using Crumb Cake ink.  Punch out with the Cookie Cutter Builder punch.  Adhere so that his feet are at the bottom of the circle.

Cut a strip 1-1/2” wide of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  Punch the main hat piece and two hearts using the Jolly Hat Builder punch.  Run the hat through the Square Lattice embossing folder

Adhere hearts to the gingerbread man for buttons.  Color hearts with the clear Wink of Stella

Cut a scrap of white cardstock ¾” wide.  Stamp using the Touches of Texture stamp set and Cherry Cobbler ink.

Punch the band and pompom out with the Jolly Hat Builder punch.  Assemble hat on the gingerbread man.

Color two pearls from the Pearl Basic Jewels with a black Sharpie

Adhere to gingerbread man for eyes.

Remember the writing tablet?  Perfect for the inside of cards.  Fold a piece in half. Stamp with a phrase and an image if desired.  Adhere to inside of the card.

Make an envelope from Christmas wrapping paper using the envelope punch board.
