Stamp: Music Note wheel, Riveting, Punch Potpourri.

Milestone Birthday – 12 years old – B12a

I searched the internet for a guitar template.  Lots of them out there but I chose this one then I kind of followed StampinBerry’s guitar as a ‘get me going’.  I glued the word window punch to the guitar, loosely attached my brads then wrapped the cord around them before closing the brads tightly.  I used the Mat Pack and piercer to help me align the brads.  Both the #12 (size 72) and ‘U Rock’ (size 48) were done on the computer in the LilSister font.

Sing a song of Birthdays
Full of fun and cheer
And may you keep on having them
For many a happy year. Happy 12th birthday!

Cardstock: Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, white.

Ink: black, Early Espresso.

Stamp: Sanded.

Accessories: sponge, brads, silver cord, soft suede marker, Mat Pack.

Punches: 1.75” circle, word window, 1.25” circle.

Milestone Birthday – 11 years old – B11f

Thought this card by absolutekreations was kinda cute so I copied it!  I cut each leg for the cow at 3/8 inch by 1 inch.  I cut two strips at 41/4 inches and two at 3 inches each at ½ inch wide for the window frame.  The roof of the barn is also ½ inch strips.  I drew the eyes, nose and mouth with a black marker.

Here is the poem I used for this 11 year old card.
It’s your 111th Birthday! Milk it for all it’s worth!

Stamp Sets: Woodgrain.

Paper: Real Red, Pretty In Pink, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake cut at 21/2 inches by 33/4 inches.

Milestone Birthday – 11 years old – B11e

I saw a video by Brenda Keenan at keenankreations done using this Flower Shop stamp set and the Pansy punch so I copied it.  I added a dab of Crystal effects to the center of the flowers then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds.  I used my Coluzzle to cut a 2.75” circle.  It is put together the same as Brenda’s.  The "11" was done on the computer because I don't have any number stamps that would fit.

Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Garden Green, white, Rich Razzleberry, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (09/10).

Ink: Rich Razzleberry.

Stamp: Flower Shop, Sincere Salutations.

Accessories: sponge, 3/8” taffeta ribbon, crystal effects, Dazzling Diamonds, mounts.

Punches: Bird Builder, Pansy, ¾” circle, 1” circle, Coluzzle.

Milestone Birthday – 10 years old – B10d

Found this idea on Pinterest of course!  This is my last Shark punch art card for my 10 year olds!

Stamps: Something to Say (Happy Birthday), Timeless Treasures, Sky is the Limit (clouds), Bring on the Cake for the inside, Perfect Pairing (SAB 2016) for the envelope, Animal Stories for the envelope.

Paper: Smokey Slate, White, Black, Marina Mist.

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Marina Mist

Accessories: ½” wiggle eyes, SU Dazzling Details glitter glue, Coluzzle, sponge, Gently Falling EF, Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer.

Punches: Carl for sun, Word Window.

Cut white cardstock 4-1/4” by 8-1/2” to create a top fold card.  Grunge the front with yellow ink and a few blue clouds.

I cut some waves and added glitter glue.  I didn’t do a very big piece as the middle will be covered with the shark.

Cut in half and adhere to card.

I just free handed the body shape.  Trace on to Smokey Slate cs. Trace the eye and mouth placement.

Cut out the body only – erase pencil lines.  Sponge edges gray.  Put through the embossing folder and glue to the card front.

I used an oval Coluzzle to get the top of my mouth pattern.  Trace one black for mouth and one from white for teeth.  Draw teeth.

Cut teeth.  Lay wrong side of teeth to the black mouth.

Trim following the curve of the black, sponge and adhere to the shark.

Add the wiggle eyes and the sentiment.

I splattered a blue envelope with navy acrylic ink then stamped the HB from the Perfect Pairing (SAB 2016) stamp set and a couple whales from the Animal Stories stamp set.

Milestone Birthday – 10 years old – B10c

Cardstock: Basic Gray, White, black, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight.

Ink: black, Marina Mist, Pacific Point.

Stamp: For a Friend.

Accessories: sponge, Coluzzle, Stampin Chalk Marker, pencil, wax paper, wiggle eyes.

Punches: 5 Petal, Blossom Petals Builder, ¾” circle, ½” circle, sun by Carl.

Font: Calibi size 28 for the #10.

After making Marie’s shark punch HERE, I thought – why can’t I make the same shark head using my Coluzzle to make a bigger shark?  Not sure he really looks like a shark or whale but I hope my 10 year olds think he’s just fine!

Here is what you need to make this.  Not sure why the owl punch is listed – I think I planned to use the little circles for the eyes but changed my mind so just ignore the owl punch!

Cut one grey and one white oval about 4” tall using the Coluzzle.

Cut one black oval about 3” tall using the Coluzzle.

Punch his tail using the 5 Petal punch in grey.

Punch two fins using a petal from the Blossom Petals Builder punch.

Sponge all pieces in black ink.

Fold all ovals in half with right sides together.

Draw teeth on the edge of the black oval with a Stampin Chalk Marker or a white gel pen.  Set aside.

Kiss the top part of the white oval to the top part of the grey oval as shown.

Glue into place.  Glue the black oval to the white oval matching the fold lines as shown.

Add tail and fins.  I found this easier to do if I set my shark on the top of the card so they would fit for width and height so they would fit on the card.  Set this aside until the card front is prepared.

I stippled the card front with a ball of wax paper and Marina Mist ink.

Cut two, 2” strip of Marina Mist cardstock a bit wider than the card.

Alternate between the ½” and ¾” circle punches to make the waves.  Sponge with Pacific Point ink.

Draw a line with a pencil at 2-1/8” from the bottom of the card.  Adhere a strip of waves matching the pencil line.  Add a second row of waves under this.  Trim edges.
Draw another pencil line at 2-7/8” from the bottom of the card.  Line up the bottom of the fins with the pencil line and glue in place.

Erase pencil lines.

Another fun Shark punch art or is it a Whale punch art to make using the Coluzzle this time.

Milestone Birthday – 10 years old - B10b

Stamps: For a Friend.

Paper: White, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Gray.

Ink: More Mustard, Marina Mist, sponged waves Pacific Point.

Accessories: wiggle eyes, shaving brush for the sky, CB Tiny Bubbles EF, Swiss Dots EF, white gel pen.

Punches: 5-petal, scallop circle for clouds, 1-3/8” circle, large oval, wide oval, sun by Carl.

Font for the number 10 is Calibi size 28.

I basically followed Stamping Inspirations instructions from her blog so I’m not going to re-type it.  To make the head and mouth, punch one white and one gray from the wide oval.  Sponge in gray.  Fold each one in half.

Glue the top half together.  Add the black with the teeth to the inside.  Then add to the body of the shark.

Another fun Shark punch art or is it a Whale punch art to make.  I think it is a shark but not sure!

Milestone Birthday – 10 years old - B10a

I’m going to make Shark punch art or maybe they are Whale punch art cards for my 10 year olds.  For my first one, I followed Blinkin',Thinkin', & Inkin' pattern on her blog.

Body – wide oval cut in half in Basic Gray.

Teeth – large oval punched then snipped with scissors in White.

Eyes – ¼” circle punch in Black, white gel pen highlight.

Lower fins – small oval cut in half.

Top Fin – 1-1/4” circle punch.  Punch again to get curves on both sides (put on a post it note so you can hold on to it).

Tail – Full heart – re-punched on both sides with a large oval (put on a post it note so you can hold on to it).

Sun punch – by Carl in Marina Mist.

Font for 10th – computer generated size 21 in Calibri.  Punched it out with the ½” circle punch.

Stamp – Party This Way with Black ink on Baja Breeze cardstock then punched out with the Word Window punch.  I used the Wish Big phrase from the Bring on the Cake stamp set for the inside.

The card is Baja Breeze.  I cut the Daffodil Delight with the Top Note die, sponged it in gray then put it through the Tim Holtz Rays EF.  I ripped a piece of Marina Mist, sponged it in gray and put it through the Swiss Dots EF.  Added a layer of glue then dipped it in Dazzling Diamonds to the ripped edge.

Here is my last Ladybug card.  This one was inspired by mychicnscratch.  I cut the Certainly Celery DSP 4 x 51/4” then scalloped the bottom. Here is the poem I used for this 9 year old card also from The Quote Garden.

They crawl out from warm mulch, just after snow,

In hidings from tunnels row after row;

They rest among dew drops and fly out to bring

Their red spots of colors to gardens of spring.

Happy 9th birthday!

Milestone Birthday – 9 years old – B09d

Really liked smallbitsofpaper’s ladybug.  I changed it up a bit so I could call it my own.  I used the oval Coluzzle to make his body instead of a circle punch.  I also left his head as a whole punch – not sure it suits this little guy but it will do just fine.  I stamped the Elements of Style stamp onto a scrap of paper before stamping it on my cardstock as I just wanted a faint image.  Here is the poem I used for this 9 year old card from The Quote Garden.

We’re sending luck and wishes all wrapped up in a hug

Good things should come your way with this tiny ladybug.

Happy 9th birthday!

Cardstock: Old Olive, White, Real Red, Black, Summer Picnic DSP.

Ink: Old Olive, Black.

Stamp: Inspired by Nature, Memorable Moments, Elements of Style.

Accessories: sponge, oval Coluzzle, black marker, white gel pen.

Punches: ¾” circle, 1” circle, Bird Builder, Scallop Trim Border, Owl Builder, standard ¼” hole, 3/16” crop-a-dile, slot.

Font: Comic Sans size 22.

Milestone Birthday – 9 years old – B09c

Cute ladybug by scrappinmad-karien.  I didn’t change it much except I didn’t do as my doodling as Karien.  I used the circle Coluzzle to make his body about 3”. Here is the poem I used for this 9 year old card from The Quote Garden.

Little ladybug on my arm, you wear a heart as part of your charm

You joined me on this sunny day, just for a moment then you flew away.

Happy 9th birthday!

Cardstock: Real Red, White, Black, DSP stripe from my stash.

Ink: Real Red, Black.

Stamp: Memorable Moments.
