Cricut Daisy - One Hour Card Class 067 - OHCC067

Stamps: Bunch of Blossoms, Whimsical Words (SAB 2010) or One Big Meaning (2017/2018).

Cardstock: Basic Grey, White, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride.

Ink: Basic Grey, Melon Mambo.

Tools: bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, Softly Falling EF, Pinewood Planks EF, clear Faceted Gems, mini sequins trim, silver sequins

Punches: Banner, large oval.

Did a little bit of cheating here!  Found a daisy online and let my Cricut Explore Air cut it out!  How simple is that!  I also totally cheated and used Claire Daly’s card layout!

Stamp the sentiment from the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set on to white cardstock with Basic Grey ink.  Punch with the large oval punch.  Add dimensionals.

Spong the petals with Blushing Bride ink and the centers with Melon Mambo ink.  Add a dimensional.  Add three silver sequins to the card front with glue dots.  Add a clear Faceted Gem to the daisy center.

Stamp a phrase from the Whimsical Words or One Big Meaning stamp set in Melon Mambo ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

Open the flap of a purchased envelope and run through the Pinewood Planks EF.  Lightly sponge with Basic Grey ink.

Daisy from the Succulent Die - One Hour Card Class 068 - OHCC068

Stamps: Bunch of Blossoms, Cheesecloth, Whimsical Words (SAB 2010) or One Big Meaning (2017/2018).

Cardstock: Early Espresso, White, Old Olive, Sahara Sand.

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake.

Tools: bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, copper sequins, fine tip glue, Flourish Thinlits dies, Succulent Framelits dies,

Punches: Scallop Trim Border or Decorative Ribbon Border (2017/2018).

This was a fun card to make.  As you can see, we roughed up the edges of the panel.

We also roughed up the edges of the phrase panel.  A strip of border using the Scallop Trim Border punch helped bring this card together.

We die cut four of the smallest Succulent flowers from the Succulent Framelits dies.  Sponged centers of each flower with Daffodil Delight ink.  Curled the petals to give some dimension.  Offset one on top of the other and adhere with a glue dot.  Add a dimensional. Added three coper sequins to the card.

Punched circles from Early Espresso cardstock and adhered to the flower centers.  Covered dots with glue from the Fine Tip glue.

Stamped the inside.

Made a matching envelope.

Polished Stone Technique – One Hour Card Class 050 - OHCC050

To make Faux Polished Stone:

Dab your cotton ball once with rubbing alcohol – don’t saturate it.

Add one drop of Marina Mist re-inker and three drops of Soft Sky re-inker onto your dampened cotton ball.

Dab the cotton ball over your cardstock.

Continue dabbing until you achieve the look you want.

If you end up with little puddles, turn your cotton ball over and dab them off.

The rubbing alcohol will cause the re-inkers to blend together.  Set aside.

Set aside for the ink to dry before stamping.

To make card stock felt ribbon, cut a strip of Rose Red card stock 3/8” x 8-1/2”.  Run your bone folder over the front and back about 3 or 4 times or until card stock separates.  Gently pull apart.  Make three tucks on one end and adhere towards the bottom of the glossy panel.  Trim if necessary.

Stamps: Wild About Flowers, Bunch of Blossoms (phrase).

Cardstock: Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Rose Red, White, White Glossy.

Ink: Night of Navy, Rose Red.

Re-inkers: Marina Mist, Soft Sky.

Accessories: cotton ball, rubbing alcohol, Elegant Dots embossing folder, bone folder, Misti, sponge, snail adhesive, sponge, Dimensionals,

Punch: 1-1/4” circle, 1-3/8” circle.
