July 2012 |
I
have been married to Wayne since 1967 and I still would not trade him for anything!! We have 5 daughters and 9 grandchildren.
I owned and operated Morks Sewing for 29
years. I taught stamping and
scrapbooking classes there for once a week since 1998. We became a Sears Catalogue Agent in
1996. That's all changed now - I sold
the store in Feb of 2006. I still miss
the place, especially the people!
With
the abundance of spring water on our farm, DH decided to start a water bottling
business in 2002. That has kept us very busy. We should have started it many years ago ....
when I was much younger! It is very
heavy work. Then April of 2009, he took
the Managers position at our local Golf Course!
I am beginning to think I will never get to retire!
Due
to health problems, DH sold the water business in 2011. It started affecting his shoulders and
feet. He started driving semi on October
1, 2011 for 3Koil of Turtleford.
Maybe I can finally retire!! Our
4th daughter decided to go back to work as an Assistant for Investors
Group in St Walburg, SK. I offered to be
her ‘babysitter’, with pay! Having him
around doesn’t interfere with my attempts at retiring! He is so good! He started kindergarten in 2012 so I don’t
have him as much as I would like any more!
I
have been stamping since 1997 or so and started scrapbooking in 2002. They certainly go hand in hand. I signed up with Stampin Up in May of
2006. Obviously I figured my stamp
collection of 5000, needed company! In
about 2010, I really got into digital scrapbooking using My Digital Studio by
SU!. I am totally hooked!
