Here are the three Brusho cards we made.  It’s kind of addicting and sometimes frustrating as you really don’t have much control over what your background will look like.  No two cards are the same, that’s for sure!

Inlaid Embossing technique - One Hour Card Class 064 - OHCC064

Stamps: Birthday Blossoms (2017/18), Afterthoughts (retired - hostess 2010/11).

Cardstock: White, Ruby Red, Old Olive, Turquoise, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Hello Honey.

Ink: Turquoise, Ruby Red.

Tools: Layering Circles Framelits, bone folder, purchased envelope, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, Glue Stick, Elegant Dots embossing folder.

Punches: 1-3/4”, 1-3/8”, 1-1/4”, ¾”, ½”, 1” circles.

A very simple and quick card.  The main trick to this card is to adhere each circle securely – I ran a row of Snail down the center, then finished with a Glue Stick right to the edges.

I cut circles as follows:
Ruby Red: 1-3/8”, 1-1/4”, ¾”; Old Olive: ¾”, ½”; Turquoise: 1”, 1-1/4”; Bermuda Bay: 1-3/8”; Pacific Point: 1”; Hello Honey: ¾”, ½”, ½”.

Before adding the phrase, run the panel through the Elegant Dots embossing folder with the circles facing the logo of the embossing folder.

Add the sentiment with dimensionals.

Stamp a phrase from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set on Turquoise cardstock with Ruby Red ink.  Punch with the 1-3/4” circle punch.  Adhere to inside of card.

Decorate a purchased envelope with the Stampin’ Around ‘Spot On’ image with Turquoise ink.

Ink: Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry, Tranquil Tide.

Tools: aqua painter, dimenstionals, Tombow glue, envelope.

Punches: Word Window.

I followed THIS VIDEO on Pinterest to watercolor the images.  My layout inspiration came from THIS CARD.

Cut watercolor paper 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”.

Stamp a row of mountains in full strength Crumb Cake ink about 2-1/2” from bottom of panel.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the mountain stamp again with Crumb Cake ink – stamp off then stamp another row of mountains above the first one.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the zig zag image and stamp two rows of grass in full strength Garden Green ink – have the first row touching the bottom of the mountains on the right-hand side.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the long narrow image in full strength Sahara Sand ink and fill in the areas around the grass and mountains. Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Add the pebbles in full strength Soft Suede ink across the dirt/grass.

Stamp water in full strength Marina Mist ink at the bottom of the card.

Stamp a second water image in full strength Marina Mist ink that touches the bottom of the grass/dirt.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the water image again in Marina Mist ink, stamp off twice then stamp on the right-hand side of the middle water.  Repeat for the left-hand side.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the water image in full strength Soft Sky ink.  Fill in the sky area.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the zig zag image in full strength Night of Navy ink.  Stamp on top of the water.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Add the sun with full strength Crushed Curry ink.  Immediately paint with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.

Ink the trees in full strength Tranquil Tide ink.  Stamp 2 trees on the left side.  Without re-inking, stamp their reflection in the water.  Immediately paint the top trees only with the aqua painter brush.  Let dry.  Repeat with all three trees on the right-hand side.

Mount on to a 3-3/4” x 5” Garden Green panel – I trimmed it a little closer to the water colored panel then adhered to Marina Mist card.

Stamp Happy Birthday from the Glamper Greetings stamp set with Night of Navy ink on to Marina Mist cardstock.  Punch with the Word Window punch and apply dimenstionals.

Add a phrase and a little scenery to the inside of the card.

Stamp a matching envelope.
