May 2022 Celebrating in Color Paper Pumpkin Alternatives G, H, I.

Check my June 9 post to see how I made the Grad caps.  Here are my last 3 cards using the May 2022 Celebrating in Color Paper Pumpkin kit.  The picture shows all the supplies the that come in the kit.

PP05-22 - Card G

Splattered the card front with black acrylic paint.  Drew lines with my marker on the outer edges.  Circles from the Stitched Shapes dies, stars are from the Stars die (AC 2016/17) and the phrase is from April 2018 PP You Are My Anchor kit.

PP05-22 - Card H

I used one of the gift card holders that came in the kit to make the triangle.  I made 3 score lines down the front.  The white triangle piece is cut a half inch bigger – I added score lines to the outside edges.  They are edged with black marker.  Hat is a 1-5/8” square run through the Tasteful Textiles EF and matted in black.  I sponged a mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (AC2019/20) over the card front using Sweet Sorbet ink then splattered with black acrylic paint.  Hand drew the word You with a black marker.  Added some black rhinestones.

PP05-22 - Card I

For my last card, I had 6 gift card holders left & some bling so I divided that into 2 so I could get the last 2 cards!  I sponged a mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (AC2019/20) over a white panel using a blending brush with Starry Sky ink (very light handed).  Used the Hot Air Balloon punch (AC2019/20) on the gift holders then ran them through the Hammered Metal EF (AC2021/22).

That completes another Paper Pumpkin kit.  I hope I gave you inspiration.

May 2022 Celebrating in Color Paper Pumpkin Alternatives D, E, F.

I explained how I made my Grad caps in yesterdays post.  Here are my next 3 cards using the May 2022 Celebrating in Color Paper Pumpkin kit.  The picture shows all the supplies the that come in the kit.

PP05-22 - Card D

I covered the word You on the card front with a scrap of paper then splattered the background piece with black acrylic paint. Added my cap & some bling.

PP05-22 - Card E

Not many changes from the Paper Pumpkin design, splattered the banner with black acrylic paint then added my cap & some bling.

 PP05-22 - Card F

I used one of the gift card holders that came in the kit to make the triangle.  The white piece is cut a half inch bigger.  They are edged with Versamark ink and heat embossed with black.  Hat is a 2” square run through the Tasteful Textiles EF and matted in black.  Diploma is 3-1/4” long x 1-1/2” wide then stamped in the center (from April 2018 PP You Are My Anchor kit).  Rolled both ends towards the center using the handle of a paint brush.  I sponged a mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks (AC2022/23) over a Parakeet Party panel using Basic Gray ink then splattered with black acrylic paint.  Added some black rhinestones.

The last of my 3 cards will be posted tomorrow!

May 2022 Celebrating in Color Paper Pumpkin Alternatives A, B, C.

The May 2022 Celebrating in Color simply screamed Graduation to me, but any kind of celebration would work!  Kit contains supplies for 10 cards with envelopes.  Coordinating colors are the new 2022-2024 In Colors - Starry Sky, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet.

I sat down and made up a handful of grad caps following DIY Super Simple Tassels video to make the tassels, adjusting to suit my cards and I used Just Julie’s instructions to cut the hat, however I used the large oval punch for the base of my caps, just cut the ends off.  Sponged both pieces in white craft ink before putting together.  Spritzed the hats with Frost White Shimmer Paint.  I didn’t really change up the cards too much, I just added the Grad caps.  I was able to get 2 of each card by adding a few additions from my stash.

 PP05-22 - Card A

Sponged the strips that came in the kit black.  Splattered the greeting with black acrylic paint.  Added my cap & some bling.

 PP05-22 - Card B

Splattered the background piece with black acrylic paint.  Edged the panel with Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold.  Added the congrats from Banners for You stamp set and Bunch of Banners dies (AC2016/17).

 PP05-22 - Card C

Added some gold glitter paper, the Confetti punch and the Twinkle Builder punch (AC2019/20) for the black glitter stars.  Splattered the greeting with black acrylic paint.

Check out my next 3 cards tomorrow!
