Boom Boom – LICI-B-11

Stamps: Groovy Love (2014/15), Be My Valentine (inside and envelope, Occasions 2011), Butterfly Gala.

Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012).

Ink: Poppy Parade, Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi, Poppy Parade marker.

Tools: Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, sequins, pearls, 1/8” Vanilla ribbon, Basket Weave embossing folder, Falling Petals embossing folder.

Punches/Dies: Scallop Oval punch, Large Oval punch, Sweetheart punch, Boho Blossom punch, Bird Builder punch, spritzer, Butterfly Duet punch.

Some old punches and stamp sets used on this card, but I’ve got them so I’m going to use them!  Started with a full panel from your Love It Chop It pile (5-1/4” x 4”).

Cut a Very Vanilla panel at 2-1/2” x 3-1/2”.  Spritz with water and run through the Basket Weave EF.  You can see a bit of it in this picture

Stamp the dotted heart from the Groovy Love stamp set on to a Very Vanilla scrap with Wild Wasabi ink and stamp the zebra heart from the Groovy Love stamp set on to a Poppy Parade scrap with Poppy Parade ink.  Punch an extra heart from Poppy Parade cardstock.  Run it through the Falling Petals EF. Sponge all the hearts in Soft Suede.  Punch the hearts using the Sweetheart punch.

Stamp the phrase on a Very Vanilla scrap with Poppy Parade ink.  Punch with the Large Oval punch.  Punch a scallop oval from Wild Wasabi using the Scallop Oval punch.  Adhere to the phrase.  Add dimensionals.

Punch all three flowers from the Boho Blossom punch in Poppy Parade cardstock.

Crumple slightly.  Adhere the two larger ones together.  Punch a1/4” circle from Wild Wasabi cardstock and adhere to the center of the flowers.

I used the marker to color in the butterfly bodies.  Adhere a bow to the large butterfly.  Add pearls to the little butterfly.

Add pearls to the flowers.

Stamp a phrase to the inside of the card.  Decorate the envelope.

I’m still working on the Everyday Enchantment DSP that I have loved and now chopped.  I chopped it in 5-1/4” strips then cut the strips into 4” pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I have them stored in a Full Wide Stamp case. Kylie Bertucci has given us permission to Love It Chop It!
