Here are the three Brusho cards we
made. It’s kind of addicting and
sometimes frustrating as you really don’t have much control over what your
background will look like. No two cards
are the same, that’s for sure!
Gold Butterfly Brusho Card 042A
Stamps: Beautiful Day (Occasions 2018).
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, watercolor paper, Painted
with Love DSP (Occasions 2018).
Ink:
Rich Razzleberry, Versamark.
Tools: Gold embossing powder, Brilliant Red Brusho
Crystals, aqua painter, Wink of Stella, Love Mini Tinsel (Occasions 2018), glue
dot, Tombow glue.
Gold emboss the butterfly from the
Beautiful Day stamp set on to watercolor paper.
Stamp the phrase from the same stamp set at the bottom in Rich
Razzleberry ink. Sprinkle a couple of dabs of Brilliant Red Brusho Crystals on
to a clear block.
Use the aqua painter to apply water to 3
or 4 parts of the butterfly.
Pick up a tiny speck of the red crystals
and begin coloring over the water.
Continue painting a couple more parts of the butterfly until you run out
of color then pick up another speck of red crystal and repeat until the
butterfly is complete. Let dry.
Splatter with gold Wink of Stella.
Apply DSP to left side of the
panel. Add gold trim.
Cut another piece of gold trim at 3”
long and tie a faux knot.
Stamp a phrase in Rich Razzleberry ink
from the Beautiful Day stamp set for the inside of the card.
Decorate an envelope with the butterfly
stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink.
