May 2018 Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

This month’s kit was geared towards the men in our lives with manly hues of greens and browns.  Lots of words included in the stamp set.  This kit uses some brand-new colors in the SU! Collections, Gray Granite and Soft Sea Foam while Mossy Meadow and Mint Macaron are former In-Colors that are making a return as core colors this year. This kit is perfect for any masculine theme or event! 

The kit directions allow you to make 10 cards, 2 each of 5 designs, with coordinating envelopes included for each card. The picture below shows how the cards might look if you made them according to the kit instructions:

Old Olive card.  ½” Old Olive Scallop dots ribbon.  Old Olive marker.  Merry Moments DSP (Holiday 2015).  Perfect Pines Framelits dies.  Mossy Meadow cardstock.  White cardstock.  Fox Builder punch.  Lovely as a Tree stamp set.  Crumb Cake ink.  Gold Basic Metal Buttons.  Cherry Cobbler ink.  Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine.  Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set.  Cozy Critters stamp set (Holiday 2016). 

Card 2:

Crumb Cake card.  Sponged the negative part of the trees on to a Soft Sea Foam panel with Mossy Meadow ink.  Card Front Builder Thinlits dies.  Linen thread.  Gold Basic Metal Buttons.

Card 3:

Mint Macaron card.  White panel.  Mint Macaron ink.   Crumb Cake cardstock.   Crumb Cake ink.  Mossy Meadow ink.  Waterfront stamp set.  Seaside EF.  3/8” Metallic Tape (SAB 2017) cut in half then colored with Light Crumb Cake Blends marker.  Sky sponged with Marina Mist ink. 

Card 4:

Card is Mossy Meadow.  Soft Sea Foam panel.  Mossy Meadow ink.  Winter Woods stamp set.  Crumb Cake ink.  Crumb Cake cardstock.  Mint Macaron ink.  Seaside EF.  Crumb Cake ribbon.  Distressing tool.  In the Woods Framelits dies. 

Card 5:

Mint Macaron card.  Sahara Sand panel.  Crumb Cake cardstock.   Crumb Cake ribbon.  Mossy Meadow ink and cardstock.  Mint Macaron ink and cardstock.  Silver metallic thread.  Waterfront stamp set.  Woodgrain stamp.

Sponged the negative part of the trees.  Ran out of Crumb Cake banners so sponged a white one.  Triple Banner punch.

Smoky Slate card.  Smoky Slate ink.  Marina Mist ink.  White panel run through the Softly Falling EF.  Mint Macaron ink.   Crumb Cake ink.  Waterfront stamp set.  Silver Foil.  Card Front Builder Thinlits dies.  Linen thread.  Gold Basic Metal Buttons.

Card 12:
