August 2018 Blissful Blooms Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

The August 2018 Blissful Blooms Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set gives you lots of multi-occasion uses, like sympathy, thank you, congratulations, or “just because this is a freaking awesome day”—making it a real stamping workhorse.

Each Blissful Blooms kit comes with 10 card bases, 10 envelopes, 3 laser-cut vellum sheets, 1 sheet silver foil tags, 4 yds. baker's twine, 75 dimensionals, and 75 adhesive dots. And don’t forget the exclusive stamp set and Blackberry Bliss ink spot!

Here are my alternatives on how I made this garden of loveliness work for me.  First I inked the Stampin’ Around Speckled wheel with Flirty Flamingo on every card flowered card front before cutting them apart.  There was just too much white showing for my liking.

Card 1
Stampin’ Around Speckled wheel with Flirty Flamingo ink.
Mossy Meadow card.
Cut the top and bottom of the flower panel to get rid of some of the white then cut it apart to fit on a 3-3/.4” x 5-1/4” Daffodil Delight panel.
Layering Ovals Framelits, Sequins.
Blackberry Bliss ribbon left over from the March 2018 May Good Things Grow Paper Pumpkin kit.
Stamped the dark flower with full strength Blackberry Bliss ink then stamped the other two without re-inking (known as 3 generation stamping).  Centers are Daffodil Delight with black stamens.
