Giraffe Animal Outing - LICI-B-13

Stamps: Animal Outing, Thankful Thoughts (inside).

Cardstock: Lucky Lemonade, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012).

Ink: Black Tuxedo, Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends, Light Crumb Cake Blends.

Tools: Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, star sequins, Calypso Coral ribbon.

Punches/Dies: Banner punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Animal Friends Thinlits Die, Layering Oval dies.

Grab a full DSP panel from your Love It Chop It stash - 5-1/4 x 4.  Cut again at 2-1/4 x 4.  Flip one side of the DSP over and tape back together.  (The short piece is the top).

Cut 6 of Calypso Coral and tie a knot near one end.  Tape ends to the back about 2 from top.  Add a glue dot behind the knot.

Color the giraffe with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends and the spots and horns in Light Crumb Cake Blends.  Tuck the giraffes neck just under the ribbon.  Add star sequins.

Die cut the phrase with the Stitched Shapes oval and a Daffodil Delight oval.  Adhere the ovals together, add dimensionals and adhere to the bottom of the card.

Add the leaves.  Punch a black banner using the Banner punch.  Place both banners over top of the ends of the leaves.

Add a phrase and stamp an envelope.

I have loved and now chopped the entire package of my Everyday Enchantment DSP from 2012!  I chopped it in 5-1/4 strips then cut the strips into 4 pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I cut the cardboard backing from the DSP to fit in the front of a Full Wide Stamp case. I checked my ribbons to see what I had that matched and taped a small piece to the cardboard.  Stored all the chopped DSP in a Full Wide Stamp case.
