SU264 You’re on My Mind with Faux Brads

Here is another retired stamp set, Upsy Daisy.  I found this layout on Pinterest.

Stamps: Upsy Daisy.

Paper: Whisper White, Print Pack DSP, Real Red.

Ink:  Real Red

Accessories: Crystal Effects, dimensionals, sponge, Swiss Dots CB EF, Square Lattice EF.

Punch: scallop border punch, ¼” circle, large oval.

I stamped the daisies on a piece of 2-3/4“ wide x 2-1/5“ long white cardstock then, without re-inking, moved the stamp towards the top and stamped again.  I ran this through the Swiss Dots EF.

The red piece is cut at 2-3/4“ wide by 3-3/4” long and the green piece is 2“ wide by 4-1/2” long.   I haven’t made Faux Brads for a long time.  Simply punch out ¼” circles from cardstock, adhere to card and cover each circle with Crystal Effects.

SU263 Black and White Birthday Celebrations

Here is another retired stamp set, Upsy Daisy.  I found this layout on Pinterest.  The black panel is cut 5-1/4“x 4“.  The white panel is 1-3/4“x 3-3/4“and ran through the Stripes EF.  I didn’t have any Newsprint DSP so I used a page from a book – our library always has boxes of free books and cut it at 3“long x 3-3/4“wide.

Paper: Black, White, page from a book.

Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Smarty Pants (inside).

Ink: Versamark, Black.

Accessories: Black embossing powder, sponge, Stripes EF, mounts.

Punches: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Wide oval.

SU237 Birthday Celebrations Owl Card

This SU Owl Builder Punch is just so darn cute! In the Punch Bunch stamp set, there is an owl that can be stamped then punched with the Owl Builder Punch.  The fence top is made using a Border Punch by Martha Stewat and after stamping the Woodgrain using Chocolate Chip ink I just drew lines down each section with the Early Expresso Marker and a ruler and added a bit of distressing with a sponge and ink. The grass at the bottom is made using Garden Green ink and the SU Inspired by Nature stamp set. The sky background is done using Bashful Blue ink and a sponge.

Stamps: Woodgrain, Inspired by Nature, Upsy Daisy.

Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, scrap of unknown DSP.

Ink: Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green.

Accessories: Martha Stewart Border Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Early Expresso Marker, ¼” circle punch, Crystal effects, Sponge.
