Card SU242 With Sympathy Zentangle

Zentangling!  Who knew this is what my granddaughter was doing this past summer at the cabin with her art??  It never occurred to me to use it on a stamped image until I seen a card my sister had done!  So I did a bit of googling and there is a ton of designs!  I printed out a couple pages so I had some ideas to copy and ended up with this!  Splitcoaststampers also has a video.  Pretty darn neat!

Cardstock: Black, White.

Stamps: Blended Bloom, Bloom with Hope.

Ink: Black Memento.

Accessories: Elegant Bouquet EF, Project Life pen, sponge, mounts, Decorative Dots EF, ribbon from my stash, White gel pen, Sizzix embosslits Beautiful Wings.

Card SU243 With Sympathy Grunge

Love this Gorgeous Grunge stamp set!  If you look closer, you will notice a faint inked image of the Honeycomb embossing folder in the background.  I spotted this on someone else’s blog but I now cannot find it!  To do it, simply ink the raised side of the embossing folder, put your card on top of the inked side and close the flap.  Now, rub gently with your hand and there it is!  Too cool!

Cardstock: White, Daffodil Delight, Orchid Opulence.

Stamps: Gorgeous Grunge, Bloom with Hope.

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Orchid Opulence, Island Indigo, Pixie Pink.

Accessories: Honeycomb EF, sponge, rhinestones, Sizzix embosslits Beautiful Wings.

Card SU245 With Sympathy Flower Shop

I love these colors together - Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Pool Party!  I could not seem to line up the Pansy Punch with these flowers so I did a google on it.  Keenan Kreations has an example but there are lots of others on youtube as well.  Much easier to use once this tip was figured out for me!  I just eye balled it to cut out the flag ends.  The card didn't scan so good with the bulk of the buttons.

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango.

Accessories: Petals a Plenty EF, Doily, sponge, mounts, linen thread, Pool Party button, Tangerine Tango button.

Punches: Pansy Punch.

My sister had ordered the Blendabilities when they first came out.  I didn’t think I would bother with them but the more Blogs I browsed, the more interested I got in them.  We got together and she showed me how easy they were to use!  So much fun!  Now I am waiting for mine to come!
