Beautiful Day - LICI-B-21

Stamps: Butterfly Gala, Beautiful Day, Beautiful You (inside), Falling Flowers (inside and envelope).

Cardstock: Lucky Lemonade, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012).

Ink: Grapefruit Groove, Granny Apple Green.

Tools: Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, sequins, pearls, Natural Trim ribbon, Country Floral embossing folder, spritzer.

Punches/Dies: In the Woods Framelits, Butterfly Duet punch.

We will be using a strip from our Love It Chop It DSP stash.  Cut a Very Vanilla panel at 5-1/4” x 4”.  Draw a pencil mark down the length of the Very Vanilla panel at about 1-1/4” from the right edge.  Spritz the Very Vanilla panel and run it through the Country Floral EF up to the pencil mark.

Adhere the DSP to the un-embossed edge.  Trim edges if necessary.  Cover the edge of the DSP with 6” of Natural Trim, taped to the back.  Adhere to a Very Vanilla card.

Die cut 3 leaves from Lucky Limeade using the In the Woods die.  Set aside.

Set up the Stamparatus to stamp the butterflies (Very Vanilla cs with Grapefruit Groove ink on  2-1/4” x 2-3/4”), the phrase for the outside (Very Vanilla cs with Grapefruit Groove ink on  1-1/2” x 4”) and the phrase (Grapefruit Groove ink) and image for the inside of the card (Very Vanilla cs with Granny Apple Green ink on  5-1/4” x 4”).

Color the butterflies with Wink of Stella and punch using the Butterfly Duet punch.  I added the body with a maker.  Bend the wings on either side of the body.  Set aside.

Trim the phrase to about 1-1/4” x 3-1/2”.  Add dimensionals.  Set one leaf upside down at the bottom of the card front.  Add a touch of glue to the bottom leaf.  Set the phrase on top to pick it up.  Secure the leaf then adhere the phrase to the card front.

Arrange the other two leaves and glue into place.  Add large butterfly.  Add pearls to the butterfly and sequins to the card front.

Add the small butterfly to the inside of the card.  Decorate an envelope.

I have loved and now chopped the entire package of my Everyday Enchantment DSP from 2012!  I chopped it in 5-1/4” strips then cut the strips into 4” pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I cut the cardboard backing from the DSP to fit in a Full Wide Stamp case. I checked my ribbons to see what I had that matched and taped a small piece to the cardboard.  Stored all the chopped DSP in a Full Wide Stamp case.
