Butterfly Punch Pansy - One Hour Card Class 013 OHCC013

This is one of those ‘old’ techniques that never gets old!  If you look closely, you can see they are made from to Butterfly punches that are layered with an brad holding them together in the center.

Punch out two butterflies from Shimmer White cardstock – you need two for each flower.  Spritz them with water, allowing the water to pool.  Load Aqua Painter with Crushed Curry ink from a re-inker and touch the brush to the middle of the butterflies.   The ink will spread, but you might have to "help" it along.

Touch the outside edges with Elegant Eggplant ink from a re-inker.

Let dry.  Use Eggplant Envy Marker to draw lines to the center of the butterflies.  Curl wings with a bone folder.

Adhere one butterfly crosswise over the other with a gold brad.

We lined an envelope for this card following THIS tutorial.
