March 2017 Paper Pumpkin Alternative - PP03-17

We are all busy.  Sometimes, you just want to be crafty, but not have to think about the design and layout or how to cut the paper.  Paper Pumpkin has taken all the fussy work out of the equation.  Here is the most recent Paper Pumpkin kit I received (March 2017) and the treat bags and cards it was designed to make:

As usual, I like to make paper pumpkin alternatives so here they are.  I took the envelope apart and used the flap to stamp this little guys face on.  I used my Misti to help put it on straight.

I don’t know how you guys made this little bunny look so cute!  It wasn’t until I used the Sweetheart punch to punch out the face that I finally liked my bunny otherwise he just scared me!  Ha ha!

Once I punched out the head, I still had room to stamp the ears.

When I cut the ears out, I left the bottoms as long as I could.  This would allow me to tuck them under the head.

I added cheeks to each face with a Q-tip and Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Cut the note card in half.  I over stamped the Sweet Sugarplum card with the little egg image with Versamark.  Dimensionals were added to the bunny head panel and the greeting.

The Balloon Bouquet punch was used to punch the eggs.

Stamps: Bunny Buddies.

Cardstock: Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim.

Ink: Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach, Basic Gray, Versamark.

Tools: Dapper Denim baker’s twine, Misti, Dimensionals.

Punches: Balloon Bouquet, Sweetheart.

PP03-17b Alternative

I used 5-1/2 of the note card for this card.  Tied about 14” of twine around the score mark then added a scallop border to each side.

The Balloon Bouquet punch was used to punch the eggs.

Even with my Misti, I found it difficult to stamp in the center of the tiny die cut banners that came with this kit so I stamped and die cut them with the Bitty Banners Framelits.  I chose to use the Sweet Sugarplum greeting on this card.

Stamps: Bunny Buddies.

Cardstock: Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, Pumpkin Pie (it seemed to match better).

Ink: Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, Basic Gray, Versamark.

Tools: Peekaboo Peach baker’s twine, Misti, Basic Pearls, Bitty Banners Framelits.

Punches: Balloon Bouquet, Scallop edge border, Trio flower, Sweetheart.

PP03-17c Alternative

I wadded up a piece of wax paper and pounced on the card and eggs with Dapper Denim ink before assembling the card.

I cut the note card in half and die cut the printed part.

Added flowers and leaves to the banner.

Dimensionals were added to the bunny head panel.

Stamps: Bunny Buddies, Flower Shop, Petite Petals.

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Dapper Denim.

Ink: Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, Basic Gray.

Tools: Dapper Denim baker’s twine, Misti, basic pearls, Bitty Banners Framelits, wax paper.

Punches: Bird Builder, Pansy, Petite Petals, Sweetheart.
