MDS 006 Easter Wishes Scrapbook Page

8.5 x 11" page.
Happy Easter to you! If you have just stumbled on my Blog, type ‘MDS Scrap Page’ in the Search Box (top left corner) to see the pages we have done.

I am using Windows 7. You Mac or other Windows people may have some adjustments to make. All this info plus more can be found by clicking HELP (across the top of the program) > My Digital Studio Help.

Choose Insert (from the toolbar) > Add Page from the menu > Blank Page > OK OR you can click on the blank page with the + (plus) sign on it from the toolbar. Just don’t forget to use the Arrange – Order button throughout this page as you need it. Turn on your Bleed area. View > Guides > Photo Page Bleed Area. Anything you put past the gray areas could get cut off during printing.

Stamp icon > Browse > Petal Pizzazz > Open > Drag the leaf stamp on to your page. Resize - Change Color (on right side) > Old Olive > Copy and Paste to make another leaf – Rotate 90* left. Place on a flower – rotate to look right. Click on the flower - Arrange – Order – Bring to front.

Punch icon > Drag the Modern Label onto your page. Resize. Color Fill > White > Opacity (on right) to 60 - Mat > Old Olive. This kinda makes it look like a piece of vellum. Add Old Olive brads to the ends.

Stamps used: Easter Wishes – All Holidays, color Old Olive; Typewriter Numbers in Pumpkin Pie for the year.

I like to Drop Shadow everything! You will have to Ungroup everything you have Grouped in order for it to Shadow. Click on the item – Arrange – Ungroup. Click on one Embellishment – Drop Shadow – Opacity to 65, Blur to Medium - Save as Default – on this page. Now all my Embellishments will be Shadowed. Click on one Stamp image – Drop Shadow. Since the Opacity and Blur are set, click ‘on this page’. Now all my stamped images will be Shadowed. Repeat for one Text, one photo and one punch and click ‘on this page’. You can certainly Drop Shadow each item as you go but I tend to do it at the end.

My Digital Studio Catalog PDF catalog will be updated every month and is available to you on MyDigitalStudio.net (you will want to sign up to this site) under Resources. If you have not ordered your copy of My Digital Studio yet or if you would like to order anything from the catalogue, just click on the On Line Ordering button in my left sidebar and your order will be mailed directly to you! Downloads will go to your computer automatically.

Watch for NEW Scrap Pages posted on Fridays.
