SU003, SU004 Kissing and Reverse Kissing Technique

SU003 Kissing Technique

This is a simple and fun technique. Ink up the Canvas stamp with pigment ink - I found the pigment ink gave a brighter colour than the dye ink. Now, press or kiss the Big Blossom uninked stamp on to the Canvas inked stamp. The Canvas design is now transferred to the Big Blossom. Stamp the Big Blossom on to cardstock. Easy ... Easy!

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa

Ink: Rose Red pigment

Accessories: Crimper, 1" circle punch, Large oval punch

Stamp Sets: Big Blossom, Canvas, Warm Words

The images below have been scanned from the Stampin' Success January 2007 magazine (for demostrators). They did a far better job of samples than I could have.

SU004 Reverse Kissing Technique

If you look at your Canvas stamp, you will notice the Big Blossom has taken ink off it. Stamp it on to cardstock. You now have a tone on tone background with the flower image still visible. Too cool eh? With one inking, we have created two cards!

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery

Ink: Rose Red pigment

Accessories: 11/4" circle punch, corner rounder

Stamp Sets: Big Blossom, Riveting, Merry, Canvas
