SU180 Bra-vo!
I've been galloping along with Christmas cards but I need to interrup to show you this card. First of all, I'm really excited to be using a stamp set that is actually in the current calalogue! I swear that SU! keeps a record of the stamp sets that I buy then discontinues them for the next catalogue!! LOL
The rest is straight forward. I hope you will give this a try. Too much fun! By gully, if I didn't know better, I'd swear this was my body ...er... am I dreaming!!!
Thanks for stopping by today.... On my next post, I'll show you my ladies matching undies. Make sure you come back, or better yet, become an e-mail subscriber and have my posts sent directly to you!
I know what card I'm making for my five son-in-laws for their birthdays! They will get such a hoot out of this card!
I found the pattern HERE. Thanks Frances.
I stamped, cut apart and sponged all the edges of the bra. For the lace edging, I cut Perfect Plum cardstock using the Nesties scallop oval - see photo below. I punched a set of flowers using the Spring Bouguet punch before I cut the lace on a curve. Flip the lace piece over to match with the other scallops and cut the second piece of lace. Then I punched another flower as I want two of the same flower. I'm going to save the middle piece for a pattern for other cards.
Once I glued the lace scallop to the bra cups, I layed them on my ladies chest and chalked a little cleverage.
I painted a scrap of white cardstock with Frost White Shimmer paint, let dry then punched the circles to the center of the flower clasps.
Cardstock - Blush Blossom, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, White.
Ink - Perfect Plum, White pigment.
Stamp - Simply Said.
Accessories - SU! Frost white Shimmer Paint, Nesties scallop oval, SU! Spring Bouquet punch, sponge, white pen, circle punches.

SU109 Reflection Technique
REFLECTION OR MIRROR IMAGE TECHNIQUE:
Picture instructions can be found HERE on Splitcoasters. Her demo is done with acetate. I use wax paper instead.
Ink an image and stamp onto card stock.
Ink the same image and stamp onto wax paper.
Turn the wax paper over and line up to create a mirror
image. Rub with your fingers over the
wax paper to transfer the image. Use light pressure for a lighter or watery
image, more pressure for a crisper image.
Color the reflection a lighter color and tone than the
main image for images reflected on water or ice.
Picture instructions can be found HERE on Splitcoasters. Her demo is done with acetate. I use wax paper instead.

SU017 Santa Suit card
Stamp Set: Merry.
Cardstock: White, Black, Real Red, Silver.
{Real
Red, 51/2 x 81/2" top fold card.
White
cs - cut 3" wide by 41/4" long.
Lightly draw a pencil line on the right side at 1/2" from both
sides of the 3" width. With the
right side facing you, tear towards you on one line. Repeat for the other side. Glue to center of the card.
Silver
cs - punch with 13/8" square punch. If you don't have a punch, it is easy
enough to cut it with your cutter. Use
your xacto knife & cut slits on 2 opposite sides for the black cs to go thro.
Black
cs - cut 1" wide. You need one to
measure 5" long and one at 11/2"
wide. Round the corners of the 5" piece and
sponge with white ink or chalk so that it looks like the end of Santa's belt.
Add eyelets or you could draw them with a silver pen or just add some glitter
glue. Thread the 5" piece thro the silver buckle. Align short black piece under the 5"
piece to complete the belt. Adhere to
the center of the card (bottom of belt is about 11/2" from bottom of
card).}
Ink: Black.
Accessories: 1/8" hole punch, Black marker, Silver eyelets, Xacto knife, White chalk, Corner rounder, Eyelet setter, 13/8" square punch.
Seen this idea on Splitcoaststampers.
