Collar Fold Card – LICI-B-07

Still working on the Everyday Enchantment DSP that I have loved and now chopped.  I chopped it in 5-1/4” strips then cut the strips into 4” pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I have stored them in a Full Wide Stamp case. Kylie Bertucci has given us permission to Love It Chop It!  Any DSP would work but its nice to use up retired stuff!

Stamps: Something Good to Eat (Sept 2016 PP), So Hoppy Together (SAB 2019), Dragonfly Dreams (inside).

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012), Lucky Limeade, Peek a Boo Peach.

Ink: Light Old Olive Blends, Dark Old Olive Blends, Black, Peek a Boo Peach marker, Lemon Lime Twist (on envelope).

Tools: Everyday Enchantment brad, Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, black rhinestones, 9” black seam binding ribbon,

Punches/Dies: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering circle Dies, Trio Flower punch, Silent Setter.

Started with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ DSP from my Love It Chop It stash.  Using the trimmer, make a 1-3/4″ long cut mid-height (2-5/8″) from top edge.

Use the scoring blade on the trimmer to score from the top and bottom corners to the endpoint of the cut.  That made it easy to fold back the corners.  Fold the two flaps to the right side.  Slightly curl both points.

Cut Lucky Limeade cardstock 5-1/2” x 4-1/4”.  Stamp phrase from the Something Good to Eat stamp set with Black ink.  Do NOT adhere to card front until we have placed the brad in place.   Adhere panel to the DSP.  Place a Dimensional behind each flap, close to the fold.

Stamp sitting frog with Black ink on to a scrap of Very Vanilla. Die cut with the 2nd smallest Stitched Shape die.  Die cut Peek a Boo Peach cardstock using the scallop circle die and die cut a Lucky Limeade circle

Color the frog with the Blends and marker.

Now make a Brad Bow.  There is a good Tutorial here.

Lay the frog on the front panel to determine where to place the brad.  Mark brad placement with a pencil.  Punch a hole with the Silent Setter.

Adhere the frog to the card front.

To add the Brad Bow, insert the prongs in the cardstock. Open brad on back side of the cardstock.  Adjust bow as you like and trim the ends.  Adhere panel to the card front.  Add three flowers from Peek a Boo Peach cardstock.

Add a phrase to the inside with black ink and stamp an envelope.

Negative and Positive Daisy – LICI-B -10

Stamps: Daisy Delight.

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012), Peek a Boo Peach.

Ink: Peek a Boo Peach.

Tools: Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, Everyday Enchantment brad, sequins, Peek a Boo Peach ribbon, Pool Party ribbon, Subtle embossing folder.

Punches/Dies: Hollow Lace Border dies (Amazon), Silent Setter, small daisy punch, Daisy Punch.

Die cut two Hollow Lace Border dies (Amazon) from Peek a Boo Peach cardstock.  Adhere to the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel leaving a bit of a border.  Join the second die to fit across the panel as the die is only 3-3/4” long.

Used a full panel of DSP from my Love It Chop It pile (5-1/4” x 4”).  Cut in half about 2-5/8” x 4”.  Adhere one piece above the die on the Very Vanilla panel, add Peek a Boo Peach ribbon to cover the seam then adhere to a Peek a Boo Peach card.  Set aside.

Cut Very Vanilla 3-1/4” square.  Mark the center.  Stamp a daisy with Peek a Boo Peach ink.  Punch with the Daisy Punch.  Sponge the tips of the daisy with Peek a Boo Peach ink and set aside.  Run the panel through the Subtle EF.

Cut the other piece of DSP at 2-5/8”.  Adhere the square of DSP to the back of the negative daisy.  Trim close to the petals.  Sponge edges Peek a Boo Peach.  Adhere to a 3” square of Peek a Boo Peach cardstock.  Set aside.

Punch a hole in the center of the positive daisy with the 1/8” hole punch.  Align the positive daisy with the negative daisy panel.  Trace the circle on to the panel.  Punch with the Silent Setter.  Add dimensionals.  Insert brad and adhere to the card front.

Stamp a phrase to the inside.  Punch a couple of small daisies from the scrap of leftover DSP.  Adhere around the phrase.  Punch a couple of ¼” Peek a Boo Peach circles for the centers.

Stamp the front of an envelope.

I have loved and now chopped the entire package of my Everyday Enchantment DSP from 2012!  I chopped it in 5-1/4” strips then cut the strips into 4” pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I cut the cardboard backing from the DSP to fit in a Full Wide Stamp case. I checked my ribbons to see what I had that matched and taped a small piece to the cardboard.  Stored all the chopped DSP in a Full Wide Stamp case.

Rhino Animal Outing – LICI-B-09

Stamps: Animal Outing.

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012), Pool Party, Lucky Lemonade, Calypso Coral, Basic Gray.

Ink: Basic Gray, Memento Black, Light & Dark Smoky Slate Blends, Light & Dark Old Olive Blends, Ivory Blend, Color Lifter, Light Calypso Coral Blend.

Tools: Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, sequins, Basic Gray ribbon, Layered Leaves embossing folder.

Punches/Dies: Animal Friends Thinlits dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I used a full DSP panel from my Love It Chop It stash (5-1/4” x 4”) then basically copied my Rhino card from Christine’s Stamping Spot.  She has a great video on how she did it so no need for me to go into details.

I used a little Wink of Stella on the leaves.

I do love how much better the Blends seem to blend by coloring twice.

To create an open circle, tape the 2 largest Stitched Shape dies together.  Die cut one from Pool Party cardstock and another from Basic Gray cardstock.

Stamp phrase on the negative Pool Party circle.  Add to inside of card.  Stamp an envelope.

I’m still working on the Everyday Enchantment DSP that I have loved and now chopped.  I chopped it in 5-1/4” strips then cut the strips into 4” pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I have stored them in a Full Wide Stamp case. Kylie Bertucci has given us permission to Love It Chop It.

Petal Palette – LICI-B-08

I have loved and now chopped the entire package of my Everyday Enchantment DSP from 2012!  I chopped it in 5-1/4” strips then cut the strips into 4” pieces.  Kept the leftover strips too.  I cut the cardboard backing from the DSP to fit in a Full Wide Stamp case. I checked my ribbons to see what I had that matched and taped a small piece to the cardboard.  Stored all the chopped DSP in a Full Wide Stamp case.

Stamps: Waterfront, High Tide (inside), Petal Palette.

Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB 2012).

Ink: Poppy Parade, Soft Suede.

Tools: Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, pearls, Lucky Limeade ribbon, Subtle embossing folder.

Punches/Dies: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Petals and More Dies, Lace Ribbon die, Trio Flower punch.

Stamped the phrase on a Very Vanilla panel in Soft Suede ink then ran it through the Subtle EF.

The markers were too harsh, and the Poppy Parade Blends were too pink to color the bird so I inked the large water/mountain image from the Waterfront stamp set in Poppy Parade, stamped it off then stamped over the bird.

I bought the Lace Ribbon die from a friend.  Once I die cut it, I did cut it in half before adhering it to one long edge of the DSP strip.

Used an older punch to punch the flowers.  Added pearls to each one.

Stamp a phrase from the High Tide stamp set to the inside.  Stamp the front of the envelope.

Using the Negative of a Punch – LICI-B-03

Using the negative of the Punch allows the DSP to be the center of attention!

Stamps: Best Yet, High Tide (inside), Punch Potpourri (Hostess 2010/11).

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Lucky Lemonade, Everyday Enchanted DSP (SAB 2012).

Ink: Calypso Coral (inside and envelope), Pool Party, Soft Suede, Lemon Lime Twist.

Tools: Very Vintage button, Stamparatus, bone folder, purchased envelope, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, regular and mini glue dots, pearls, Everyday Enchantment Calypso Coral ribbon, Softly Falling embossing folder, Flower Shaper tool, spritzer.

Punches/Dies: corner rounder punch, Layering Oval dies, Blossom Punch, Blossom Bunch punch (2016/17), Trio Flower punch, Bird Builder punch.

Cut DSP 5-1/4” x 4”.  Sponge edges with Soft Suede ink.  Punch flowers at the bottom with the Trio flower punch before adhering panel to card front.

Spritz the flowers then press centers with the Flower Shaper tool.  Set aside to dry.

Stamp phrase on Vanilla cardstock.  Die cut using the Layering ovals die.  Sponge the flowers with Soft Suede ink.  Arrange flowers and leaves around the phrase.  Add tiny pearls to the flower centers.

Punch the large flower from the Blossom Bunch punch in Pool Party cardstock.  Glue to center of the negative flower.  Add a Very Vintage button – I like to use enough glue that it squeezes up through the button holes.

Cut Everyday Enchantment Calypso Coral ribbon 8” long.  Make a bow then adhere to the button with mini glue dots. Trim.

Add a phrase from the High Tide stamp set.in Pool Party ink and the flower image from Punch Potpourri stamp set with Calypso Coral ink.  Stamp an envelope with the same flower image from Punch Potpourri stamp set with Calypso Coral ink.
