Triple Time Stamping - One Hour Card Class 061 - OHCC061

Stamps: Flourishing Phrases.

Cardstock: Dapper Denim, White.

Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum.

Tools: Cricut Explore Air machine, bone folder, Tombow adhesive, dimensionals, sequins, 9” Sweet Sugarplum Ruched ribbon

Lots of Triple Time stamping cards on Pinterest and I thought to myself – ‘why couldn’t I set this up on my Cricut machine’ and that is exactly what I did!

Cut white cardstock at 5-3/4” x 4-3/4” for the outside of the card.  Open Cricut Design Space.  Create three rectangles at 4″ x 5-1/4″, 4-1/4″ x 3″, 2″ x 3-1/4″ and let the Cricut cut it.  Isn’t that simple!

Stamp the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set at the bottom of the middle panel using Dapper Denim ink.

Ink the large vine from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set in Dapper Denim ink.  Stamp off on to a scrap then stamp on the white panel - stamp your first one in the center then continue stamping off until the panel is covered with the vine.

Stamp the flower five or six times on the panel, inking the stamp each time.  Stamp the leaves a few times on the panel, inking the stamp each time.

Set the Cricut up to cut two more rectangles from Dapper Denim cardstock at 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ and 3-1/2″ x 2-1/4″.  Yes, you might as well cut four from the sheet of cardstock.

Before you glue the white frames to the card stock frames, make sure they are lined up in the direction you want. If you don’t, the flowers will not match each other!

Adhere the largest white stamped frame to the card front.  Adhere the remaining stamped panels to the matching dapper Demin panels.  Adhere together making the flowers match.

Tape 4-1/2” ribbon around the panels just above the phrase.  Add dimensionals to the back and adhere to card front.  Add a few clear sequins.

Fold a piece of writing tablet paper in half for the inside of the card.  Stamp with images.

Decorate an envelope.

Side Step Baby Dresser Card - One Hour Card Class 069 - OHCC069

Stamps: Timeless Textures (2016 Occasions), Something to Say (2014/15), Punch Bunch (SAB 2011), Teeny Tiny Wishes (2017/18).

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Perfectly Artistic DSP (SAB 2016), Silver Foil, So Saffron.

Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, So Saffron.

Tools: bone folder, purchased envelope, stamp-a-ma-jig, So Saffron brads, sponge, dimensionals, Tombow adhesive, snail adhesive, glue dots, Lori Whitlock’s ‘Step Card Baby Dresser’ digital cutting file.

Punches: Itty Bitty Accents heart, Tag.

I purchased this digital cutting file from Lori Whitlock called ‘Step Card Baby Dresser’ and installed it into Cricut Design Space.  I found the SU! Cardstock cut better if I set my Cricut to ‘Poster Board’ and the DSP to ‘cardstock’.  Maybe that is because my knife is becoming dull, I really don’t know but it just works better. Cricut cut and scored the card making it very easy to assemble. There are a lot of tutorials on Pinterest on how to cut a score a Side Step card - you don't need a Cricut cutter.

Card is Crumb Cake.  Over stamp the front with the Timeless Textures stamp set from the bottom to the center score marks with Crumb Cake ink.

Starting at the bottom, fold a mountain fold at the first score line, a valley fold at the second score line then fold the top two into mountain folds.

Over stamp the fronts of the drawers with the Timeless Textures stamp set with Crumb Cake ink.   Sponge the edges.  Add brads to the drawers for the handles.  Apply dimensionals to each drawer.  Cut small pieces of fabric/lace etc and attach to the inside of each drawer.

The ‘mirror’ is cut from Silver Foil.  Adhere onsie and punched heart to the mirror.

Stamp the phrase from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set above the little scallops with Early Espresso ink – the stamp-a-ma-jig helps to stamp it on straight.

Added a little tag to the inside of the card.

Decorate an envelope with stamped images.

Cardstock: Tip Top Taupe, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Husk (from my stash).

Ink: Tip Top Taupe, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate.

Tools: bone folder, purchased envelope, Tombow adhesive, Seasonal Layers Thinlits.

This is a total case of Mary Brown’scard!  Love it!

Stamp the sentiment from the Glamper Greetings stamp set in Smoky Slate ink at the bottom right hand corner.

Ink the sun from the High Tide stamp set in Crushed Curry – stamp off before stamping at the top right-hand corner.  Ink the 3 smallest birds from the High Tide stamp set in Smoky Slate.  Stamp them on/near the sun.

Add the chairs using Tombow glue.

Stamp a phrase from the Colorful Seasons stamp set in Pool Party ink.  Add the birds from the High Tide stamp set with Smoky Slate ink.  Add a bit of ‘water’ for them to stand in using Pool Party ink.  Adhere to the inside of the card.

Decorate an envelope with the bird and water images – same as the inside of the card.

June 2017 One in a Melon Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Another cheery kit!  What awesome colors!  Makes it feel like it is lake time!  The kit was originally designed to create 6 note cards and 4 gift bags.  I didn’t really need gift bags, so I created alternative cards with the gift bag items instead! And I don’t do note size cards neither.

These are the extras I used for the alternatives.  All other items were supplied in the June 2017 One in a Melon Paper Pumpkin kit.
Card 1 to 3 of 9 alternatives.
I covered white cardstock with some of the tissue paper supplied in the kit.
Extras: gingham ribbon, Emerald Envy baker's twine, Sweet Cupcake stamp set (2017/18).

Card 1 of 9 alternatives.
Card 2 to 3 of 9 alternatives.
Card 3 to 3 of 9 alternatives.

Card 4 to 6 of 9 alternatives.
Added a bit of watercolor to the first card and a bit of Wink of Stella to the middle watermelons.
Extras: Emerald Envy baker's twine, Wink of Stella, Crushed Curry ink.

Card 4 to 6 of 9 alternatives.

Card 5 to 6 of 9 alternatives.
Card 6 to 6 of 9 alternatives.

Card 7 to 9 of 9 alternatives.
For the first card, I cut a 5" circle from Lemon Lime cardstock.  I used my aqua painter to add some streaks of Emerald Envy ink to look like watermelon rind.  My next circle was white cut at about 4-3/8".  I cut another white circle about 4-1/8".  I covered this circle with glue stick then applied the tissue paper.  I adhered the 3 circles together then cut into watermelon slices.
Extras: Scallop edge border punch, Sweet Cupcake stamp set, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Emerald Envy baker's twine, Happy Birthday thinlits, Sprinkles of Life stamp set (2017/18).

Card 7 to 9 of 9 alternatives.
Card 8 to 9 of 9 alternatives.
Card 9 to 9 of 9 alternatives.
Ended up with 25 cards from this kit!
Contains supplies for 6 cards and 4 bags, includes:
6 printed card bases, 4 printed bags, 6 white envelopes, 2 sheets watercolor die-cut pieces, 2 sheets white die-cut pieces, 1 sheet laser-cut leaf stickers, 4 sheets printed cotton paper, 4 yds pink baker’s twine, 4 green mini clothespins, 100 dimensionals, 100 adhesive dots, One in a Melon stamp set, Melon Mambo and Emerald Envy ink spots.
